EU Regulation No. 995/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 20 October 2010 laying down the obligations of operators who place timber and timber products on the market.

Rauch Möbelwerke acts as a trader within the meaning of the EUTR. The purchased wood and wood-based materials originate from Germany, the EU or have already been legally placed on the market by another market participant in the EU.

In the case of alder solid wood, Rauch Möbelwerke assumes the status of market participant, as the place of origin of the wood is outside the EU and a direct import takes place. The corresponding notification has been made to the BLE (Federal Office for Agriculture and Food) and a DDS system has been established.
